LeAnn Rimes Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Leaving Rehab
LeAnn Rimes concluded her in-patient stint in rehab for emotional issues and celebrated by spending a night out with her family. The singer accompanied her husband, Eddie Cibrian, and his two young sons — Mason, 9, and Jake, 5 — to the Los Angeles premiere of "Batman Live!" on Thursday — and appeared to be enjoying herself.
Wearing a black dress and booties, the 30-year-old country singer was smiling and goofing around with her family on the black carpet. They all had mini stick-on moustaches attached to their fingers and posed with them pressed to their upper lips. Rimes and Cibrian, 39, stuck together, holding hands most of the time. Prior to the show, Rimes tweeted a photo of herself wearing sequined ears, writing, "Channeling my inner Cat Woman for Batman Live." Her youngest stepson, Jake, was even more into the experience, wearing a black cape and Batman mask to the show.

Late last month, Rimes announced that she had "voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress." Checking into the unnamed facility a day after her 30th birthday, she said, "This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be. All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."

During her stay in rehab, Rimes had the flexibility to leave the facility on weekends to perform several pre-scheduled shows. During one concert date in Wisconsin, Rimes shed some tears on stage while addressing the "elephant in the room," her treatment. "I'm totally cool and so happy; I think I'm about to cry," Rimes said. "Thanks for being awesome fans — patient and understanding." Just over a week ago she took the stage at VH1's Save The Music Foundation's Songwriters Music Series and seemed much more at ease. No tears were shed during that performance — she actually smiled a lot.

Now that she is out of rehab, Rimes will be reconnecting with her family as well as finishing up her latest studio album, Spitfire, and performing a number of shows over the next three months. But she will certainly have to channel the new coping skills she learned during her treatment because it won't be a cakewalk. In fact, Cibrian's ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, is writing a new book about her worst breakups, which is sure to include a chapter on how Cibrian cheated on her with Rimes. In fact, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has already promised that her book will be "a bumpy ride!"
